Welcome to Web 2.0 for the Middle School Joe. I will be presenting at NECC 2008, and this website includes some basic information about my presentation.

So what is Web 2.0?
Web 2.0 is the new age of the internet. Many new websites and downloadable programs are very interactive and have two-way communication. This is much different than a few years ago when sites were restricted to text and simple graphics. The internet has been 'upgraded' to its second edition. These new tools make it easier for everyone from middle school students to their teachers to create and share projects and ideas.
